The Story So Far

Hi! My name is Elif and I'm the creator of minivalley. I'm a mom of a 4 year-old smoothie monster. Born and raised in Turkey, I made my career as a corporate apparel&graphic designer. I loved my job but I always dreamed of creating something on my own. As we moved to California when our son was born in 2018, the coastal life and California lifestyle inspired me to create minivalley.

As a mother, I searched for, that understated style in baby and child products with simplistic design, non-toxic materials and neutral colors while not compromising the quality that every mother wants to provide for her child. I noticed that would cost me a lot. Knowing that I'm not the only one struggling with this, I decided to take the matter in my hands, and create products that are timeless, gender neutral and sustainable with the best material. And the final result was minivalley products.

Our collection is designed in Los Angeles, and mostly produced with traditional handwoven looming method in Turkey (Denizli). All our ponchos are loomed by hand with 100% natural premium Turkish cotton, finished with hand twisted and tied tassels. We believe that climate change is real so we are proud to say that our products present our ideology. All our fabrics are dyed using low impact dyes, super lightweight and absorbent. Swaddles printed with organic GOTS approved inks which do not contain harmful or toxic chemicals, making them safe for your child's delicate skin and the environment. All toys and baby bonnets are handmade from organic cotton. Our branding and hang tags are 100% cotton. Our packaging and shipping materials are plastic free and recyclable materials.
